2019 Audi Q5, SQ5 pricing and specs

Audi’s mid-sized SUV has been given a refresh for 2020, with sharp pricing across the board to take on the Mercedes-Benz GLC.

Audi has priced the 2019 Q5 line-up for Australia, which has arrived in showrooms priced from $65,900 before on-road costs.

The updated Q5 line-up will start with the 40 TDI quattro, with power from a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine making 140kW and 400Nm, and a $65,900 starting price before on-road costs.

Opting for the 45 TFSI quattro brings a petrol engine outputting 185kW and 370Nm, and bumps the price to $66,900 before on-roads.

In base ‘design’ spec, the Q5 rides on a set of 19-inch allow wheels and gets kit like MMI navigation, lane-keeping assist, and high-beam assist as standard. Wireless phone charging and rear USB ports are standard across the range.

Moving up to the ‘sport’ bumps the starting price to $71,600 for the diesel and $73,500 for the petrol, and adds the option of a 50 TDI quattro with a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine pumping out 210kW and 620Nm. Audi has it priced from $84,700 before on-road costs.

Moving up to ‘sport’ brings a panoramic glass sunroof, along with a 360-degree camera with the parking assistance package, auto-dimming rear-vision mirrors, heated front seats, and memory for the driver’s seat. The 50 TDI also gets the sportier S Line exterior package and more upmarket Milano leather trim.

The range-topping SQ5 TFSI is priced from $99,990 before on-road costs, and gets kit like metallic paint, a glass panoramic sunroof, a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, a head-up display, and variable headrests as standard atop the rest of the range, along with a petrol engine making 260kW and 600Nm.
