Duke Dynamics’ Ferrari F12berlinetta Body Kit Is Very Wild And Very Wide

Ferrari stopped making the F12berlinetta last year when the 812 Superfast replaced it as the company’s flagship GT.

That doesn’t mean the F12’s performance isn’t relevant anymore; not by a long shot. Its 730hp, 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 makes it a fearsome opponent for any of today’s supercars. After all, it covers the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 3.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

While it’s safe to say that the F12’s performance hardly needs any upgrades, some owners might want to give it a more individual appearance. One of the latest tuning kits for the F12berlinetta comes courtesy of Marius Dumitrascu and Duke Dynamics.

While Dumitrascu is responsible for the widebody kit’s design, Duke Dynamics handles the manufacturing. The company has built the first of 15 units and shipped it to Vietnam, where it got its first photo shoot.

As you can see, the changes make the car a lot wider than the standard model. More specifically, the kit adds 50 mm (1.97 in) to each front fender and 60 mm (2.3 in) to each rear fender.

The full package consists of 21 pieces made from carbon fiber and CFRP. The front features a broader bumper with a vent on each side and an enormous splitter. A subtly updated grille and a modified bonnet with three vents instead of one are also included in the kit.

Furthermore, each front fender gets a carbon fiber vent, while other additions to the profile are the bigger custom wheels, carbon fiber mirror caps, and side skirts, as well as the broader rear fenders with three vents each.

The rear end is likely the wildest part of the car because of the huge spoiler, bulky diffuser that integrates bigger tailpipes and a sculpted bumper with vertical vents. Despite the fact that almost all of the body panels were remodeled, there aren’t any changes to the original structure and the aftermarket parts are connected to the car’s existing mounting points.

As a result, most of the stock parts can be retrofitted in case the owner wants to, or when resale time comes.
